From Earth to Art: A Journey of Soulful Creation
My creative journey began along the shores of Florida, where I spent much of my life collecting seashells and treasures gifted by the sea. When I moved to North Georgia, that passion took root in a new way. I found myself enchanted by the crystals, arrowheads, driftwood, and ancient stones scattered along the rivers, creeks, and forest trails of the Appalachian Mountains, which inspired my work at Gems Galleria.
These natural wonders stirred something within me—a desire to learn their history, uncover their metaphysical meanings, and transform them into tangible expressions of beauty and energy. What began as a hobby has blossomed into a soul-driven art form showcased in my twisted gallery.
Two years ago, I underwent emergency back surgery that changed my life. Recovery gave me time to slow down and reconnect with my spirit. In that stillness, I poured myself into creating—jewelry, sculptures, rock art, and handmade treasures that helped me heal from the inside out. Creativity became not just a passion, but a pathway to purpose.
Today, I wire-wrap each crystal and sculpt every piece of driftwood, guided not by rules, but by intuition, energy, and a touch of wild magic. Every creation—whether a pendant, sculpture, ancient effigy stone, or artifact—are all unique and one-of-a-kind, just like the soul it’s meant to find.
True beauty in art lives in its story, its energy, and the hands that shaped it.
